Το Ensemble AИASTROPHOS αποσκοπεί στο να φωτίσει απο διαφορετικές πλευρές τη σύγχρονη αλλά και κλασική μουσική δημιουργία. Η συνθέτρια-βιολονίστα Τάνια Σικελιανού και ο Μουσικολόγος-φλαουτίστας Κωνσταντίνος Ανδρέου σε συνεργασία με μιά σειρά καλλιτεχνών από άλλους τομείς των τεχνών δημιουργούν σύνθετα θεάματα. Κάθε performance συνδυάζει τη μουσική με τη σύγχρονη τεχνολογία μέσα απο εικόνες, βίντεο και electronics. Μέσα από τα έργα συνθετών διαφορετικών εθνικοτήτων το Ensemble AИASTROPHOS οδηγεί το κοινό σε ένα ταξίδι, όπου ο «πρωτόγονος» ήχος του φλάουτου και ο αψύς ήχος του βιολιού βρίσκονται σε έναν συνεχή διάλογο με τον ηλεκρονικό ήχο και τις εικαστικές παρεμβάσεις.
Ensemble AИASTROPHOS aims to bring out different aspects of contemporary and classical music. The composer-violinist Tania Sikelianou and the musicologist-flutist Konstantions Andreou, in collaboration with various artists from other fields of the arts, create composite performances. Each performance combines music with modern technology through the use of images, video and electronics. Through the works of composers of different nationalities, Ensemble AИASTROPHOS takes the audience on a journey where the “primitive” sound of the flute and the harsh sound of the violin are in a constant dialogue with the electronics and a series of moving images.
