Ensemble AИASTROPHOS
Ensemble AИASTROPHOS aims to bring out different aspects of contemporary and classical music. The composer-violinist Tania Sikelianou and the musicologist-flutist Konstantions Andreou, in collaboration with various artists from other fields of the arts, create composite performances. Each performance combines music with modern technology through the use of images, video and electronics. Through the works of composers of different nationalities, Ensemble AИASTROPHOS takes the audience on a journey where the "primitive" sound of the flute and the harsh sound of the violin are in a constant dialogue with the electronics and a series of moving images.
